Bill Guerin, the general manager of the U.S. team at the 4 Nations Face-Off, rejoiced at the notion that President Donald Trump should be at the USA-Canada final on Thursday.
In an interview with Fox News, it was suggested the the sitting president could come and see the highly anticipated rematch between the two host countries of the tournament, which has garnered heaps of attention due to the political climate between them — and only escalated from there after three fights broke out in the first nine seconds of the first game.
“We would love it if president Trump was in attendance,” Guerin said ahead of the championship at TD Garden on Thursday. “We have a room full of proud American players and coaches and staff. And, listen, we’re just trying to represent our country the best way we can.”

The Frogs pissed the USA team off up there and watched as their team got their heads handed to them.
Now its a rematch.

I don’t want Canada as a 51st. Those people are more divided than the US and have plenty of of their own political problems.
Bad idea. Leave politics out of this tournament. It will be embarrassing enough to boo the Canadians with Trump in attendance. Send a video message to the locker room telling the players he is proud of them.
My point exactly which is why I don’t get Trump on this issue. You would hand the Democrats around 40 electoral delegates.

Hopefully the USA will get back the players who are hurt.
Both Tkachuk brothers are hurt, but one more than the other.
But hockey players will take a puck to the face, get 10 stitches, and be back in less than 5 minutes!
So both will take the ice for warm-ups, and then we will see.
