Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó has slammed the Paris emergency summit on the Ukraine war as a gathering of "frustrated European politicians," accusing leaders invited by French President Emmanuel Macron of looking to prolong the conflict.

"So today, supporters of the war, anti-Trump and frustrated European politicians are gathering in Paris to prevent a peace agreement with Ukraine," the minister was quoted as saying by Hungarian state news agency MTI, at a press conference in the Kazakh capital Astana on Monday.

Macron's guests, which include the leaders of Germany, United Kingdom, Italy and Poland, had always advocated war between Russia and Ukraine, "poured oil on the fire" and "pursued a misguided strategy," Szijjártó claimed.

NATO strangled the Istanbul peace in its cradle. One million dead innocent Slavs later, the warmongers are at it again.

Thank God, the American warmongers are unable to lend their support this time.

Damned Euroweenies! We need to get 100% out of NATO now.

One thing is certain, Trump is his own man and his sharp mind pierces through all the BS of global manipulators. He has had four years to analyze their schemes.

I hear what you guys are saying but doesn’t it seem odd to leave Ukraine out of this initial meeting in Saudi Arabia?

If it was your country that was involved, wouldn’t you want to be part of the negotiations?

I believe in Trump but it throws up red flags in my mind, when I think about it.

They need that war for the EU to have an excuse to establish their standing army. Right now it's EU-NATO cooperation, but the end goal? Obliteration of national sovereignty.

One might surmise the purpose of just Russia and US meeting initially is to gather information Russia has on exactly what was going on in Ukraine prior to their invasion. Not saying that any of it might be true, but my guess is Russia has a lot of information they may share, and I’m sure it may be stuff the EU folks and many in Washington would just as soon not be in the hands of the Trump Administration.

Military bases dot com says; There are 21 US military bases in Germany according to our database which is being updated all the time.

Eighty years after the end of WW II. Can anyone explain to me why we need that large of a presence there? Why can’t the Europeans handle defense and policing needs in their backyard? No wonder the defense budget is so high. Imagine the opportunities for waste and fraud there.

Here’s my take.

The Paris emergency summit was NOT about Ukraine. Not the war, anyway.

Trump has stopped the US taxpayer money being laundered to the EU and UK to prop up their welfare states.

The EU and UK are about to go bust.

That’s the reason for the panic.

Ukraine, as usual, is providing a cover story.

Case in point, this morning from the UK...

Migrants will be housed in hotels for another 4 years as Labour pushes back deadline again Spending on accommodation and support for asylum seekers has rocketed from £739m in 2019-20 to £4.7bn in 2023-24.

Who's gonna pay for that, eh?

Not the US. Not anymore.

BTW, note that comments are not being allowed for this particular article. Gee, I wonder why...

Russia, the US and the Saudis meeting. I’m betting this has more to do with crude oil prices and Iran than anything else. For Russia, what is the price point for a barrel of crude for them to successfully run their economy? Whatever that price point is, if it drops by $5 a barrel, Russia is screwed and so is Iran.

The world runs on petroleum.

The Russians are likely to put an offer on the table when the time comes. It will be a bad one.

Ukraine and the US make also put an offer on the table.

An acceptable to Russia offer must include what will be Russian minimums:
1. a neutral Ukraine
2. no foreign forces in Ukraine
3. no long-range missiles in Ukraine
4. no nuclear weapons or nuclear weapons technology development by Ukraine
5. Russia, Russian companies and individuals to get their assets (plus a fair return on financial assets) back on a schedule
6. the Russian language to be an official language of Ukraine
7. Russian ethnics and Russian speakers in Ukraine to have Ukrainian legal protection as great as the anti-discrimination protections extended to negroes by the domestic governments of the USA and fully equal Ukrainian/EU treaty civilian rights
8. Crimea to remain Russian
9. all pro-Russian areas in eastern Ukraine as designated by Russia held by Russian forces to have plebiscites in 90 to 120 days of agreement
10. other areas in eastern Ukraine held by Russia essential to the connection of those areas and Crimea to Russia shall remain Russian
11. likely pro-Ukrainian areas in eastern Ukraine held by Russia excluding those of 9 and 10 to be returned to Ukraine only after plebiscites scheduled as per return of Russian assets and conditioned on fulfillment all of the above

Ukraine and the US must also put an offer on the table as soon as they can.

The territory Russia is gaining won’t get returned to Ukraine for years and maybe not at all.

You need to understand that this initial meeting with Lavrov has more issues they are going to discuss other than just Ukraine.

Zelenesky is not in any way a part of those issues in spite of all his drug addled constant public whining and yapping.

To him, it is all about him. If he would shut up, he may, or may not, be invited to a peace agreement table in the near future where the only issue is Ukraine.

Russia only needs foreign exchange to buy mainly Chinese stuff such as electronic parts. Mattel dolls and French wine are not essential.

The Russians live in tiny apartments. They have no room for SUV loads of Chinese chattels.
