Justin Trudeau’s attempt to curry favor with his countrymen following Canada’s loss to the United States during Saturday night’s 4 Nations Face-Off has made him even more unpopular with Americans. The Canadian fans booed the American anthem at Montreal’s Bell Centre in a game that saw three fights in nine seconds and vicious hitting throughout. Canadians have been booing the anthem since President Trump enacted tariffs against Canada and jokingly suggested our northern neighbor become the “51st state” of the United States. The U.S. won the game, 3-1. Afterward, lame-duck Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took to X to say he was “damn proud” of Canada.

It shows what a total man child he is. A few years back the Canadian anthem was booed in Yankee stadium and most people here that was pretty douche.

Canada gave us RUSH, so I always cut them slack
I like the RUSH Missouri gave us better.
Canadians are great neighbors, I love most of them.
Worked with them and was educated by them.
However they are saddled with the same problems the USA
has, that is Liberal cities are running the country.
I’ll put this in respective, I was born, raised in, and escaped California.
That one state had a larger population than all of Canada.
Anybody with half a brain has left CA for other pastures.
We have 49 other states to choose from
Where can smart Canadians go? Alberta, Saskatchewan?
Not a lot of work in those places for outsiders.

I know I will be crucified for this, but I’ll say it: Rush is one of the most overrated bands of all time. They had some good songs, but they weren’t anything special.
Yeah, I said it. The Rush fanbase is as toxic as the Taylor Swift fanbase, so I’m prepared for the incoming amusing insults.
Well, I grew up listening to RUSH, and i understand they were never famous, they never sold out, always interesting music. Very good musicians. I know they are an acquired taste. Taylor Swift? my god woman. Not an apt comparison for the fan base.

Our boys took it out on theirs for this BS, the games play after the first 3 fights set the tone. They weren’t putting up with it. Great to see!
