US District Judge Chutkan has REJECTED an effort to block Elon Musk and DOGE from accessing government systems, and facilitating mass firings across the government

Another MASSIVE win for the Trump administration!

Judge Chutkan says the Democrat states have FAILED to provide adequate evidence to block DOGE’s efforts, adding “I'm not seeing it so far.”

Keep in mind, Chutkan is a VERY anti-Trump judge, so the fact she can’t even see the legal path to block Musk & DOGE should be very telling.

She (Judge Chutkan) was also feeling the heat since she heard arguments on a Federal Holiday when the courts are normally closed.

What was it that Reagan said? “Make them feel the heat until they see the light”?

“What is everyone’s opinion about the conflict of interest charges against Musk?”

Not a place I’d go if I were the average, conflicted interest SH*tocrat.

My opinion is that there are no conflicts of interest because Musk is not making executive decisions. He's only leading thee audit staff. The staff itself is embedded within each department, and the heads of those departments are making the decisions.

Consider this:

President Trump thought this through. From the Executive Order, every DOGE team has the following personnel:

(c) DOGE Teams. In consultation with USDS, each Agency Head shall establish within their respective Agencies a DOGE Team of at least four employees, which may include Special Government Employees, hired or assigned within thirty days of the date of this Order. Agency Heads shall select the DOGE Team members in consultation with the USDS Administrator. Each DOGE Team will typically include one DOGE Team Lead, one engineer, one human resources specialist, and one attorney. Agency Heads shall ensure that DOGE Team Leads coordinate their work with USDS and advise their respective Agency Heads on implementing the President ‘s DOGE Agenda.

Key takeaways:

  1. Each Agency Head picks the DOGE team, not Musk or President Trump.

  2. Each team has a lawyer and an HR representative on the team to ensure proper compliance with the law.

  3. DOGE Team Leaders advise the Agency Head and Musk of their findings.

  4. The Agency Head issues the actions to be taken based on the DOGE Team's findings, not Musk.

Everything that's being done is being done by the book, with oversight and proper authorities involved.

Musk is the wealthiest human on the planet.

That may help answer your question.

I’m terrified that the $400Billion man is going to steal grandma’s Social Security.

I’d suggest you use a “sarc” when appropriate.

I doubt it’s that. When it comes to these corrupt judges making a decision in our favor, one has to ask, ”Cui bono?”

In this case, what’s the ramifications that, if she let it go through, and it winds up in SCOTUS and they overturned it? Seems to me that would present a far larger hurdle to jump over at a later date when the benefit to their side would be on the other foot.

No, I think this is just a calculated play to keep this out of SCOTUS, knowing they will lose that battle, until SCOTUS more favors their side. Yes, it means taking a loss now. But I bet they’re planning for another move on down the road from now (if they can maneuver themselves into a position to make it).

I thought she refused to rule outright and said she would rule within 24 hours.

I think it is too much to hope to think Judge Chutkan will rule in favor of Trump or anyone on his team.

To block DOGE is to set the precedent that all funding allocated by the federal government is permanent and can never be cut or the states will be harmed.
Those AGs should be voted out. They are wasting the court's time and abusing taxpayer funds.

She hasn’t ruled on the TRO yet. My understanding is she hasn’t seen anything that can let her grant a TRO. Doesn’t mean it won’t happen.
