And it will not change the dictatorship-to-dictatorship alliance between Putin and the CCP. The idea that Putin will become “aligned with us” is the same fantasy peddled by both parties for many decades that open trade with the CCP will lead to political liberalization in China. It was fantasy, so is Putin becoming our friend against China.
