The Senate voted largely along party lines Wednesday to confirm Tulsi Gabbard to serve as the director of national intelligence, the nation’s top intelligence official, despite strong objections from Democrats and initial misgivings from Republicans who questioned her experience and judgment.

The 52-48 vote caps two months of deliberations in the Senate over whether Gabbard, a former House Democrat from Hawaii, is qualified to lead the nation’s 18 intelligence agencies and prepare President Trump’s daily intelligence brief.

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) was the only GOP “no” vote.

I could have sworn many people said she couldn’t get confirmed. Looking forward to seeing how she does, congratulations to her.

Glad, Mad Mitch voted with his RAT butt buddies. Now we know his true colors (same as the gay gag flag) and why the GOOBs have been allowing the RATS to walk all over them for decades.

Amazing how cooperative some Republican Senators can become now that DOGE is doing audits.

Our own former senate leader is another turncoat. I’ll say it again Trumps greatest legacy will be that he exposed all these rotten, treacherous traitors that had risen in the ranks of our party. These weren’t just hiding in the party to spy on us but actual leadership roles.

Gabbard is over NRO, the orbital satellite agency and CIA. She overseas all the intel agencies.

It’s a big deal. What she will bring to the table is an insistence on zero narrative. No manufacturing reason to count Ukraine vs Russian bodies in the field based Ukraine sources. Satellites. Pics or it didn’t happen.

Hyperbole?

“The 52-48 vote caps two months of deliberations in the Senate over whether Gabbard, a former House Democrat from Hawaii, is qualified . . . “

They started debating this on Dec. 12th of last year?

I didn’t agree with her on the issues when she was a democrat, but I’m happy that she’s on our side now and has been confirmed.

She could never have been elected in Hawaii as a Republican.
