I have mentioned this before.

Awhile back I did a rough calculation. Based on its size, Vatican City can easily take in 2000 refugees. Easily! Pushing it to 3000 wouldn’t be out of the question.

There is room in the Vatican Gardens to build apartments to house them all. And the best part is that the Church has the money to do all of this.

So why then do the Swiss Guards push everyone out at closing time?
