CNN — President Donald Trump is removing the head of the Office of Government Ethics from his post, the agency said Monday – the latest example of Trump acting against a government watchdog.
The agency’s director, David Huitema, was confirmed to the post by the Senate in November and officially began the job in December. He had been nominated by President Joe Biden but had languished for more than a year in the Senate before lawmakers confirmed him by a 50-46 vote during a post-election lame-duck session.

With a “Government watchdog” like this, who needs D.O.G.E.?
good. keep removing vipers from the den Mr. President.
Can it, CNN.
Government Ethics??? LOL... Oxymoronic.
The whole concept of czars was to unethically bypass legal norms so it is kind of ridiculous to call one an ethics czar.
IS THAT LIKE VIRGIN PROSTITUTES???
“Government ethics” is an oxymoron.
Named by Biden
Approved by uniparty senate
Excellent decision
Government ethics? Is that another one of those oxymoron things? Or just plain moronic to expect it?
Schumer purposely confirmed him by a party-line vote after losing the election just so that President Trump can dump him an give Democrats a headline that "Trump removes top government ethics czar."
BTW, it's not a "czar" if the position is confirmed by the Senate.

had languished for more than a year in the Senate
