The FTA changed the name of its “Diversity in Federal Transit” internship program to “BOOST” sometime in 2024 before President Donald Trump returned to office in January, archived webpages show. That switch, however, did not spare the program from the Republican president’s reshaping of the federal bureaucracy.

“We are writing to inform you that the Summer 2025 Federal Transit Administration Building Opportunities and Outcomes for Students in Transit (FTA BOOST) Internship Program has been cancelled due to recent Executive Orders,” reads an email the DCNF obtained from the Washington Center, a nonprofit that has partnered with the FTA to recruit interns and run the program

I am sure that a Federal Judge somewhere will rule that President Trump has no authority over the Federal Transit Administration.

You're getting warm. Federal judges are trying to establish that only they can approve Executive Orders.

Yup—these “nonprofits” have bred and multiplied like rabbits in heat.

Take away their carrots and they starve.

The lefty federal judges remind me of Alexander Haig:

“I’m in control here.”

Lol.

Key point here: “NONPROFIT” does not mean it’s staffed by volunteers who work without pay. The administrators can make outrageous salaries.

Right. Everyone but 47 knows that judges can overturn any EO at will. 47 keeps on signing them, judges keep on overturning them.

When will 47 learn that the judicial branch runs the country and elected Presidents are only good for appointing new members of the ever-expanding judiciary?

That's what the appeal process is there for.

Federal Judges who overstep their bounds can GO TO HELL.

Those black-robed tyrants are not immortal, nor are they omnipotent. ‘Nuff said.

Most of the road where I live are black, so there’s no shortage of DEI here.
