The NCAA on Thursday banned transgender athletes (biological men) from participating in women’s sports just one day after Trump signed an Executive Order to protect girls’ sports.

The NCAA has officially changed its gender eligibility policies to ban all biological males from women’s sports one day after President Donald Trump signed an executive order to address the issue.
The governing body of college sports announced on Thursday afternoon its new participation policy for transgender student-athletes.
“A student-athlete assigned male at birth may not compete on a women’s team,” the new policy reads.
The new policy still allows biological females to compete on men’s teams.
Trump signed a landmark executive order on Wednesday, ensuring that biological men cannot compete in women’s sports.
The signing ceremony, held at the White House, featured President Trump surrounded by young female athletes, symbolizing the administration’s commitment to safeguarding opportunities for women and girls in sports.
“Under the Trump administration, we will defend the proud tradition of female athletes, and we will not allow men to beat up, injure, and cheat our women and our girls. From now on, women’s sports will be ONLY FOR WOMEN!” Trump said during the signing ceremony.

Seems like a very long-winded, obfuscated, way of saying “biological male”.
Now any other girls and woman’s sports groups need to follow suit, quickly! Men playing sports with women is dangerous and disgusting. Shouldn’t be a dumping ground for mediocre male athletes.

What do they mean “assigned’? Were they also assigned “human”?
No one is assigned a "gender" at birth. What happens at birth is that the baby's sex is recorded.
