Musk savagely trolls whining federal workers as attempts to seize highly-sensitive $5 TRILLION system hits major stumbling block in emergency court hearing
UK DAILY MAIL ^ | 6 February 2025 | BRITTANY CHAIN

Elon Musk mercilessly mocked federal workers upset over DOGE's effort to transform multiple government agencies - even after the billionaire 'first buddy' suffered his first blow in an 11th hour court showdown.

The Tesla founder updated his X bio on Wednesday to unveil his new government title as 'White House Tech Support' while his acolytes in the Department of Government Efficiency continued to mine large swaths of sensitive data.

Musk's latest troll sent a blunt message to critics about his prominence in President Donald Trump's orbit - even as Democrats scramble to limit his ever-expanding power.

His title change followed a last-ditch court request to limit DOGE's access to Treasury's $5trillion system - the first hiccup for the nascent agency after weeks of ruthlessly purging federal institutions to eliminate waste and overspending.

Over the coming days and weeks, the court's decision on privacy concerns about DOGE’s access to the data will be a monumental test of their power to infiltrate and wipe out government spending.

Lawyers with the Justice Department agreed to a motion that allows only two people associated with Musk 'read only' access to the system - which includes tax returns and social security numbers - on the condition they do not share what they find with any colleagues.

Those two employees are Musk disciples Tom Krause and Marko Elez.

his new government title as 'White House Tech Support'

That's hilarious. "What? I'm just tech support!"

What’s really sad in all this is how ineffective Congress is being shown to be.

Congress HAS oversight over these agencies. Why did THEY not find this level of wasteful spending? It’s not like it started in 2021.

Just more of an example that Congress has become incapable of fulfilling an important role.

Pinging you PJT as you have I believe expressed similar sentiments.

The Executive Branch is trying to audit the Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch really, really doesn’t like that.
Why?
Because for decades the Legislative Branch has been using departments in the Executive Branch to secretly legislate without having to get laws passed. And made themselves wealthy in the process.

Time to pick up the pace.

Also time for a movement to hold judges liable for the monetary damages they cause with bad decisions.

Find it? They've been wetting their beaks off of it.

Treasury’s David Lebryk unexpectedly left his job as soon as DOGE stepped in. *Lebryk forfeited his government pension and career instead of complying* He was replaced by Scott Bessent who provided DOGE with revealing access to the federal payments system........
<><>the Treasury Dept handled $6 trillion in payments
<><>it has not denied a request for payment in 22 years.
<><>bureaucrats, govt officials got Treasury to pay for anything; the answer was always YES.
<><>Musk accused Treasury officials of “breaking the law” every hour of every day
<><>Musk affirmed Treasury approved fraudulent payouts
<><>payouts that were at variance with or did not match the funding laws passed by Congress.

Actual funding revealed by independent watchdog agencies also provides insight.
<><>RealClear Investigations found Treasury paid $1.3 billion in federal benefits to the deceased.
<><>FEMA got $70 billion to pay for COVID-19 costs through 2026, but there is no current pandemic.
<><>Open the Books found that $38.7 million was spent on DEI hires.
<><>IRS employees are above the law and owed a collective $50 million in unpaid taxes in 2023.
<><>Treasury sent the NIH $33 million to operate a small island to study monkey behavior,
<><>and provided an additional $3.7 million to research gambling behavior in monkeys.
<><>The University of Michigan received $12 million to test methamphetamine on monkeys,
<><>and a lab in Florida was awarded $477,000 to toy with hormones and create transgender monkeys.
<><>The search is trickling into other agencies the likes of USAID.

The left does not want transparency. Senator Elizabeth Warren penned a letter to Bessent to express her concern over the investigation. “It is extraordinarily dangerous to meddle with the critical systems that process trillions of dollars of transactions each year, are essential to preventing a default on federal debt, and ensure that tens of millions of Americans receive their Social Security checks, tax refunds and Medicare benefits,” wrote Ms. Warren, the top Democrat on the Senate Banking Committee.

Holy shite. This article is nothing but pure bias. Brittany Chain has got the TDS bad. Stage IV. I count at least 12 nuggets of Liberal derogatory speech in this excerpt alone.

A Nigerian Prince. I gave him $10k and he found the account of my long lost relative in the payments system.

Re: 11 - it’s called Impeachment.

Or have Congress exhibit some authority over the lower Federal Courts.

My thoughts exactly! I've written my reps raising this very issues. My confidence in Congress to do the right thing has never been high regardless of party control.
