Jonathan Chait who recently came aboard The Atlantic magazine from his previous abode at New York magazine has made an important discovery: The recent DNC forum, in which they chose their new leadership team, was so extreme it sounded like fuel for GOP attack ads.
In fact the DNC seemed so far gone that their forum, complete with a singing DNC Chair candidate, appeared to have channeled the much mocked Democratic Socialists convention back in 2019.
Chait came to his sad conclusion about the state of DNC sanity after watching the unintentionally hilarious meeting which he chronicled on Sunday in "The Democrats Show Why They Lost."

After the far-right activist and pillow peddler Mike Lindell gained prominence as an election denier, I joked online that progressives needed their own pillow company. (The joke, of course, is that there is obviously no need for your pillow company to endorse your political views.) The next month, Hogg went ahead and turned this joke into reality, founding Good Pillow before resigning a few months later.
For all the Dems’ hyperventilation about “Hitler salutes”, that phot of David Hogg tells you all you need to know.
Their Beyonce Line Dancing just doesn’t hold up to President Trump’s Y.M.C.A. Trumpy Dance. The RATS looked like idiots in their Go Go skirts and Go Go Boots.
Fake virtue signaling makes one feel great at that moment and place in time, but as time and places March on, that fake virtue signaling become a tiresome and uninspiring suicide. That is where the left, its bought and paid for media, it’s Beltway bureaucracies, and globalist partners, are finding themselves. In a puddle of their own piss while they claim its a spa day.
That is a clenched-fist communist salute!
Trump does that too sometimes.
Exactly, demonrats show what hypocrites they are.
Yeah, David Hogg has to distance himself from the adoring women fans who are trying to hit on him. Spends money on bodyguards that could go to advancing the Dem mission.
But remember, the real reason Kamala lost is “she had to rush her campaign and didn’t have time to present her case in the media to the American people to get to know her.” About a dozen talking heads said that.
No word about avoiding every possible long interview so they wouldn’t get to know how bad and inane she really is. She lost those state primaries earlier because not one majority of voters wanted her and she dropped out.
+1
When Democrats notice that other Democrats are loony, it is delightful.
David Hogg thought someone had requested a “pillow-biter” and so he naturally volunteered.
Chait might be bummed out, but I’m happy as a clam Hogg is vice-chair of the DNC.
It will be interesting to see if the new crew at the DNC can raise campaign donations. If I was a Democrat, I wouldn’t give them a cent.
They are not serious people anymore. The adults are not in charge over there.
I wonder how the leftist will react to the news that Atlantic was part of Project Mockingbird 2.0.
I think that news is coming soon...
Bkmk
I saw someone else referencing it earlier, unless it was you.
I’m not up to speed on that project.
What the DOGE team found out is that crazy high “subscriptions”—over one thousand dollars a year—were paid to a variety of media outlets by many government agencies.
These appear to be an attempt to prop up failing media companies in exchange for favorable coverage of the Democrats.
They are still calculating all the dollar amounts and identifying all the media outlets involved.
That is what I am calling Mockingbird 2.0.
We should be hearing a lot more about this in the days and weeks to come.
Excellent.
Thank you.
I think the MSM outlets knew this may be on the way to becoming
reality.
Over the last 18-24 months, hundreds of new “News Media”
outlets have exploded onto the scene. I dismiss them as
soon as I see them.
They are nothing but a splinter effort to soak up as many
of the legacy media viewers as possible, keeping the
propaganda channels open.
That’s how I see it anyway.
Would like to see start up records on all of them.
