Children’s Hospital Los Angeles announces major change to transgender care policy

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles has announced that it is pausing transgender hormonal therapy for patients under the age of 19.

In a statement issued Tuesday, hospital officials said they are suspending the care to assess an executive order signed last week by President Trump banning the use of hormones, puberty blockers and other transgender medical procedures on minors.

“It is the policy of the United States that it will not fund, sponsor, promote, assist, or support the so-called ‘transition’ of a child from one sex to another, and it will rigorously enforce all laws that prohibit or limit these destructive and life-altering procedures,” the order reads.

Key words in this statement is “will not fund”. No taxpayer money no genital mutilation

Lupron and drugs like it are child abuse. Stopping natural hormones stops the ability to regulate moods and can make someone enraged or suicidal. It is prescribed for good reason in some cancer and infertility treatments but anyone taking it could tell you how dangerous it is. It is not for children fearing puberty.

I am NOT for gender mutilation, that’s for sure. I am also 100% pro-life, but I also remember coat hanger stories, which is one of the talking points of pro-choice advocates. Wait until we see the pictures of little “Bobby” at birth and then at five, and of course, him in a little league uniform……..ending with his bloody body in an alley, which will create outrage and headlines “Bobby just wanted to be Roberta”.
