It’s as if the clock has been turned back 210 years ago where they are like the Federalists and in the process of disintegrating. I wrote my Congressman, a Democrat in a safe DEM district in Texas, this morning & he will get a follow up communication from me on whatever he writes (or doesn’t). He was first elected AFTER the two (and only) disqualification articles of Impeachment against any elected official were ever passed by the US House of Representatives to try to strip the voters of the right to choose this person in a future Election. So, this specific Congressman doesn’t have this shameful anti-Democracy blemish on his record. There are many others who do because this happened under the watch of former Speaker Nancy Pelosi after Paul Ryan was Speaker & it happened to the same person who later got re-elected to office and now serves has all of the powers of the Executive branch of the federal government vested in him.

Here is what I wrote my Congressman:

I have heard of allegations that some federal government programs have engaged in fraud, waste, abuse, violations of law, and other forms of corruption. Please provide me a list within 10 business days of all the federal government programs you intend to support in the present/future getting appropriations or continuing going forward that have engaged in these activities. This includes all programs that don’t have consensus from both major parties as being inclusive to the legal text outlined in Article 1 Section 8 and Amendments 9/10 of the United States Constitution. If you ever have any additional programs to add to this list then please provide these additions before you begin supporting them. This is especially important because you took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution & agreed to be accountable for this. If you ever do support such programs, without prior notice, then you are admitting that you are corrupt, you should be held accountable, and reported to the authorities for this misconduct.

I want to thank you for your service in the past and look forward to good service to us in the present/future. I want to be clear that I’m alarmed by the allegations we’re learning about and it’s vitally important that these matters of government powers to control & spend be handled with honesty and transparency, especially by our elected representatives such as you who are entrusted to maintain the highest standards of integrity.
