Just 1 in 3 New York voters say they would vote to reelect Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-N.Y.), a new survey found.

According to the survey, released Monday by Siena College’s Research Institute, 31 percent of New York voters say they would reelect Hochul while 57 percent say they want to vote for “someone else.”

The results are similar to a survey conducted in December 2024, where Hochul also received a largely negative favorability rating. Currently, just 55 percent of Democrats view her favorably.

New Yorkers rated President Trump more favorably than the governor, the survey found.

That’s 1 in 3 too many.
But NY is as NY does.
I truly hate living here but have no path to leave at the moment.

And yet somehow, Hochul wins, and Democrats dominate the assembly and state senate.

That’s what happens in one-party dictatorships.

Our problem is the idiot voters will vote for someone even worse than Hochul, and that’s hard to do.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Letitia James primaries Hochul and becomes next NYS Gov. That’s how screwed NY is.

She almost primaried her last time:

The problem is the ones who won’t vote for Hochul want to vote for a different Democrat.

“31 percent of New York voters say they would reelect Hochul while 57 percent say they want to vote for “someone else.””

The remaining 12% selected the “What’s a Hochul” response option.
