US Attorney Ed Martin confirmed on Monday that Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) employees are being targeted in "violation of the law."
“Our initial review of the evidence presented to us indicates that certain individuals and/or groups have committed acts that appear to violate the law in targeting DOGE employees,” Martin wrote. “We are in contact with FBI and other law-enforcement partners to proceed rapidly. We also have our prosecutors preparing.”
While Martin did not provide any names of individuals or groups, he did say that arrests were incoming.

"We are in contact with FBI and other law-enforcement partners"
The ones that aren't doing the targeting, hopefully.

Back in the day some smart politician getting hit with bad publicity observed - “Never pick a fight with anyone who buys ink by the barrel and paper by the ton.”
In todays world , when you are running a corrupt Democrat party graft and corruption slush fund, never start a fight with a guy like Elon Musk who pretty much invented the world of secure online fund transfers as a warm up for his real business career as the world most successful tech entrepreneur - and one who owns his own AI platform and super computers capable of tracking and unraveling even the most complex and opaque networks of shell companies , cut outs and webs of hidden fraudulent financial transactions.

The missing context:
This comes after several groups and individuals posted DOGE employees’ information following the department’s access of the US Treasury’s federal payment system. Reporters at Wired tweeted out a list of DOGE employees. The DOGE workers were publicly named, and others began threatening them. Musk would then go on to X and tell users that posting the names of employees was a crime.

The people who doxxed the DOGE team members need to be sent to a new Federal Prison in north Alaska close to the PolarBear reserve. Any attempted escape results in dinner for Polar Bears.

Musk noted yesterday that his engineers could unscrub anything. The swampsters might be able to run but they can’t hide the evidence of their crimes.

I pray those young DOGE employees are being given the very best protection. They are now targets.

I REALLY like your observation “ Musk] owns an AI platform and super computers capable of tracking and unraveling even the most complex and opaque networks of shell companies, cut outs and webs of hidden fraudulent financial transactions.”
I had not thought about that. I read short profiles of the 20th wunderkind in DOGE. Amazing young men.

THAT is still very effective in Japan. I had to use (the threat of) it once.
