My gentle Canadian wife believes that Trudeau’s stupidity is exceeded by his narcissism. She has even learned to appreciate Trump’s approach, noting that after a bold opening move, he is willing to pivot or walk things partly back, driven mainly by getting the best deal he can. Not her style, but she also understands that these are times that call for something out of the ordinary.
