After withholding at the request of the family the name of the female pilot killed in the mid-air collision Wednesday night between an Army Black Hawk helicopter and a PSA/American Airlines passenger plane on final approach to Reagan National Airport near Washington, D.C., the Army issued a statement Saturday afternoon from her family identifying the pilot as 28-year-old Capt. Rebecca Lobach from Durham, N.C.

The other two soldiers killed in the crash previously identified by the Army are Staff Sgt. Ryan Austin O’Hara, 28, of Lilburn, Georgia, and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Loyd Eaves, 39, of Great Mills, Maryland.

Lobach was part of a three-man crew flying a training mission for “continuity of government” down the Potomac River when the collision occurred, killing all three crew members on the Black Hawk based at nearby Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and all 60 passengers and four crew members on the flight out of Wichita, Kansas.

Lobach, who had over 450 hours of flying experience, recently served as a military social aide at the Biden White House.

Last month, Capt. Lobach escorted fashion designer @RalphLauren at the White House when he received his Presidential Medal of Freedom. https://t.co/GyTGMliwaI pic.twitter.com/fDMX5W3m40

Being a lesbian does not make a person a bad pilot. Not following rules and not concentrating on the flight makes for a bad pilot.

Lots of folks appear to be “hinged” until they become unhinged.

There is little doubt the helo was flying at the wrong altitude.

And I’ll take Trump’s word on that as he said “by alot”.

I didn’t want this to go where it may be going.

But “intentional” must always be on the table until it is ruled out.

And in this case that cannot done cursorily.

There are old pilots and there are gay pilots. There are no old, gay pilots.

Aid is spelled aide...

To no one in particular.

aide /ād/

An assistant; a helper.
“a nurse’s aide.”
An aide-de-camp.
An assistant.

Kristinn Taylor has contributed to The Gateway Pundit for over ten years. Mr. Taylor previously wrote for Breitbart, worked for Judicial Watch and was co-leader of the D.C. Chapter of FreeRepublic.com. He studied journalism in high school, visited the Newseum and once met David Brinkley.

So, that is where Kristinn went to. I met him when we went to Gore's house located on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Observatory, to tell him to move out Cheney's house.

“Being a lesbian does not make a person a bad pilot.”

It doesn’t. But the more we know about her, the more it appears that she probably advanced because of her political connections. Plus, if more competent and qualified non-DEI pilots were passed over to check off the lesbian DEI box, that really stinks.

Hhmmm thought she had 500 hours? And when was the last time she flew, regularly?

450 hours of flight experience is NOTHING when speaking of rotary aircraft. That's a
rank beginner. Flying a helicopter is like learning a musical instrument. To become a
good helicopter pilot, it takes time and practice, practice, practice.
