John Harold Rogers, was arrested on charges he conspired to steal Fed trade secrets for the benefit of the People's Republic of China, the Justice Department announced Friday. Rogers, who worked as a senior adviser in the Fed's division of international finance from 2010 until 2021, allegedly shared confidential information with Chinese co-conspirators.

I wonder what kind of secret info the Fed has. Just a wild guess but could be something to do with interest rate deliberations which would be valuable intel. Seems like low hanging fruit though, but a good set-up to nab others who have been trading much more sensitive data.

Why does it take so long to charge these guys. It has been four years since he was active. We see this all the time, 3-4 years after the fact. Same as that FBI guy finally being charged for lawfare against Trump.
