Washington CNN — More than 1,100 employees at the Environmental Protection Agency received notice this week that they were deemed to be on probationary status and warning they could be fired immediately, according to an email obtained by CNN.

Probationary employees receiving the email have been working at the agency for less than a year. The emails began to go out on late Wednesday afternoon, according to an EPA union official.

Another one of the many things that, if done at all, should be done at the state level. Locals know how to deal locally with their climate/terrain/local-issues.

Excellent news. I wonder if DOGE has anything to do with this? Maybe they are staying in the background.

“fired immediately” vs. “probationary status...”

Said another way, this second is a good time to quit or get FIRED. Fair guess the last batch was mostly DEI, Xiden style.

I might allow for possible interstate issues (e.g. landfill or smokestacks on a state border, or water contamination that goes downstream into another state)

Some of these firings will undoubtedly end up in court, but that’s OK. Fight it out and in the end I am confident it will be established that the President has the right to fire people and control the size of the federal government. (Note that it’s never a problem going the other way - adding employees).

Even if it takes a while, Trump will win.

Don’t forget hot water heaters. WE could have long lasting efficient pickup trucks (including diesels) for $20,000 if the government would allow it. I don’t need 7 computers (one which spies and tracks me), electric windows, backup cameras, side curtain air bags (mine knocked me unconscious and did more damage that the impact), unnecessary expensive pollution schemes that are overkill, and green compostable wiring harnesses that mice like to chew on.

Well, I want to blow up my low-flow toilets. Also, I want to know when and where we can start buying incandescent light bulbs again.

I feel exactly the same way. I dont know how, but Biden managed to cripple the once reliable Toyota 4runners and Tundras with new untested motors.

“ The email, sent from a new government alias HR1@opm.gov, contained the subject line “Fork in the Road,” the same subject line of an ultimatum message Musk sent to his employees at Twitter in 2022.”

What a bunch of BS.
Probably just Union Thug scare mail.

That said, they should each prepare for showing themselves worthy of a salary…or they are down the road!

I hope the email did come from Musk!
That’s what the story try’s to imply.

Now the commie pinko propagandists have their marching orders for the weekend.
