Fortunately, I retired from Denver International Airport just as Phil Washington was taking over as CEO. If you think his confirmation hearing for the FAA Administrator position was pathetic, you should have seen his interview with Denver City Council before they approved his appointment as DEN CEO. Believe it or not, it was at least as bad if not worse. He wasn’t qualified for that position either, and had no answers to any meaningful questions, nor had he prepared any answers for even the most predictable questions. I interviewed many job applicants during my career, and even the most unqualified person usually is smart enough to at least try to prepare some answers for areas that they know are weaknesses for them. it’s obvious that Washington simply doesn’t care that he knows absolutely nothing, because he realizes that he (usually) has a free pass. That pass certainly got him in the door at DEN, and now they’re stuck with him.

So predictably, the very first thing he did when he landed at DEN was start preaching DEI BS, and pushing DEI programs hard. Did I mention how happy I am to be retired from that nonsense?

if that guy got the job, those who allowed it and he himself have much to answer for.

I’m sure all these people (not just DEI hires) who were allowed into, and accepted, positions beyond their abilities or knowledge are enjoying all their pay and perks, but I believe there will come a day they will have to answer, and not just to man, for the over step and or deception they chose to be a part of in the name of greed or self enrichment, and all the problems that came from it.

So many people playing pretend in their lives these days.

This was just recently and when I watch it I said how can anyone feel safe flying with a knucklehead like this. If the top is rotten you can imagine what the bottom looks like
