Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky argued during an interview that President Trump’s recent tough rhetoric is what Russian President Vladimir Putin is “afraid of.”
Since being sworn in, Trump has put more pressure on Putin to negotiate with Ukraine in order to reach a peace agreement that would potentially end the nearly three-year war in Eastern Europe. Trump said Putin is “destroying his country” and threatened to slap sanctions on the Kremlin if the agreement is not forged soon.
“And this is exactly what Putin is afraid of. He doesn’t want strong Trump supporting Ukraine, because it would be strong Ukraine,” Zelensky told Fox News host Sean Hannity on Tuesday night. “And the territory — territorial integrity is what every country must respect, even such country as China understands that you cannot interfere with territorial integrity, but he did it.”

If you really think Trump’s messaging is effective with influencing Putin, how about you don’t call it out and telegraph strategy!
During Trump’s first term Putin got away with murder because Putin stayed quiet and flew under the American public’s radar. Now Putin is the ugly elephant in the room. Putin is running out of options. Putin is down to his last card. With Trump in charge Putin faces extinction.

The reality on the battlefield doesn’t reflect your statement. Fact is, President Trump said “ one day”, now “ a hundred days”, everyday Vlad gobbles up more territory.
All that aside, Vlad keeps his ethnic Russian provinces, no NATO, two of Vlad’s stated objectives have been achieved. The third, ridding Ukraine of their embedded Neo Nazi’s will be dealt with by Rada ( Ukie Congress) decree.
The US’s Project Ukraine is dead, get used to it.

You are 100% right…. Idk what that guy was talking about. Russian has gain territory almost daily for months. At some point Russia will settle for what theyve captured and Ukraine will have to acquiesce to defeat. There will be a buffer zone whether Z likes it or not.
