Several MAGA figures have called for a boycott of Ben & Jerry's after the company released a video defending its progressive activism.

Newsweek has contacted Ben & Jerry's for comment via email.

The ice cream company is refusing to back down from its political positions despite facing backlash from conservative consumers, who have launched several boycotts in recent years over companies' diversity, equity and inclusion policies.

Ben & Jerry's recently posted a TikTok video in which it said, "We use our power, our privilege, our platform and our relationship with our fans to advocate for progressive social change." The company added, "We're never gonna stop trying to dismantle white supremacy, end the climate crisis or fight for our democracy."

I’ve been boycotting Ben & Jerry’s for years. I never purchased an ice cream there and also refused “free ice cream” coupons that they delivered to my office.

I would love to boycott them. The problem is I have never....since they came out in the 1980s and advertised themselves to be a leftist company....had so much as one single taste of their product. They let me know right from the start that they were people I did not want to do business with.

Häagen-Dazs is my favorite. Vanilla Swiss Almond. It has discrete flavors and textures.

When I ate Ben & Jerry’s before I knew what they were all about, it was all just sickly sweet, and had the taste that they just threw a bunch of ingredients into an ice cream base. It all tasted the same to me, and just seemed gluey and gooey for the sake of it.
