President Donald Trump addressed participants of the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. via video address today to a massive crowd of over 100,000 people.

The comments came just one day after he signed pardons for two dozen pro-life advocates who Joe Biden put in prison for protesting abortion.

The president commended pro-life advocates for their unwavering commitment to protecting the unborn. He emphasized the sanctity of life, stating, “Every child is a beautiful gift from the hand of our Creator.”

We must “stand up for little babies who can’t stand up for themselves” he said.

Trump’s remarks highlighted his administration’s dedication to pro-life policies and the importance of valuing each life and he promised to implement pro-life policies again as he did during his first term.

“We will protect our gains, work to offer a loving hand for mothers and for families, and promote adoption,” he said. “In my second term, we will again stand proudly for families and for life.” Trump also promised to look into attacks on pro-life groups, pregnancy centers and churches.

“We will finally investigate attacks on pregnancy center and churches,” Trump said.

In his speech, President Trump acknowledged the dedication of pro-life supporters, stating, “Your tireless efforts have borne fruit, and the nation is grateful for your unwavering stand for life.” He also reiterated his commitment to enacting policies that protect the unborn and support mothers, including efforts to defund organizations that perform abortions and to promote adoption as a viable alternative.

“I know your hearts are warm and your spirits are strong because your mission is just, very, very pure to forge a society that welcomes and protects every child as a beautiful gift from the hand of our Creator,” he added.

The March for Life, held annually since the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, draws thousands to the nation’s capital to advocate for the rights of the unborn. This year’s event was particularly significant, as it marked the second march since the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in 2024. Trump’s address underscored the administration’s role in appointing justices who contributed to this landmark ruling.
