Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) on Wednesday criticized Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) for defending President Trump’s recent pardons for rioters at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
“I’m speaking as a Christian here, I saw Speaker Johnson say, ‘We believe in redemption,’” Kinzinger said on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360.” “How dare you use the Bible in this?”
“I mean, don’t talk about repentance, Speaker Johnson, defend this,” Kinzinger added later. “Go out and defend that there’s these criminals on the street now, do that. I’ll respect if you do it.”
Kinzinger’s remarks were first highlighted by Mediaite.

Why does Kinzinger have to throw the Christian part in there? Because he wants to have the media sound bite on how much he cares!
There was no law broken because none of them did anything against the law. Many stayed in jail for four years without real trals because the authorities KNEW they didn’t do anything wrong.
This is rich coming from a person who was just pardoned by Joe Biden.=!
For trespassing that should have drawn a fine of a weeks’ pay people were pursued and punished brutally, some possibly into the grave.

Given the Budde political attack from the bully pulpit of the inauguration celebrations, such a phrase to anoint one's political view with self-annointing "holy water" is about as believable as listening to Al Sharpton.
