According to the Slovak prime minister, foreign "specialists" have already arrived in Slovakia

PRAGUE, January 22. /TASS/. Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has called an emergency meeting of the republic’s Security Council after security services received intelligence about an impending coup d’etat with the involvement of "foreign experts" who helped launch the color revolutions in Georgia and Ukraine, the Dennik N web portal said.

Fico stressed that he was ready for anything "but the country cannot be overthrown." According to him, foreign "specialists" have already arrived in Slovakia. He said that attempts to overthrow legitimate authorities may be carried out by organizing street protests and taking over administrative buildings. The session of the Security Council is scheduled for 9 a.m. local time (8 a.m. GMT) on Thursday. Slovak President Peter Pellegrini will also participate.

On Wednesday, representatives from Slovakia’s pro-Western opposition parties again introduced a proposal on a vote of no confidence in Fico’s government. They hope that the National Council (unicameral parliament) will vote on this issue within seven days.

The assassination attempt was a bust. Time to try a different approach.

Hungary borders Slovakia so military intervention is easy.

I wonder how long until the eastern Europeans realize the EU and Europe is every bit as bad as the soviet union was.

Romania has already found out the hard way with a legitimate election canceled because they didn’t like the outcome.

yup. Weirdly I think it may push them into the arms of Russia, who has the distinction of having already passed through it’s communist phase.

The only force in the region that sucks worse than the Slovak military is the Hungarian military.

Maybe Austria.

Saw the headline and first glimpse thought it was going to be something about a hostile takeover of Intel by another company, given their current issues. After all, those WEF guys can play hardball.

The article is by TASS, which is openly owned by the Russian Government. So take their report it long with several grains of salt. They are more unreliable than even the New York Times, which takes some doing.

Ok, I’ll check with CNN for the TRUTH.

The EU already overruled the result of the Romanian election because they lost and have promised do it in Germany if it doesn’t go their way.

And who could blame them?

Despite DJT's victory, it appears that Treadstone hasn't been shut down.

Ok, I’ll check with CNN for the TRUTH.

You won’t find truth in any media. If you want truth, go find a Bible or a philosophy book. Media report facts and offer opinions. CNN and the NYT have loose relationships with facts and offer report opinion as fact..

However TASS is Russian state-owned media, registered as such. it reports only what is officially approved by the government. It is an overtly biased source of information. It is less reliable than even CNN, which is difficult to do.

So you’re saying Tass made up this story? If not, what does it matter who reports it?
