JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon told CNBC on Wednesday that the looming tariffs that President Donald Trump is expected to slap on U.S. trading partners could be viewed positively. "If it's a little inflationary but it's good for national security, so be it. I mean, get over it," Dimon said during an interview at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

The only people in hysteria are the Hedge fund billionaires, and their media lackies, who spent 3 decades outsources European and US business to China and other 3rd world countries just to add a decimal point to their fortunes

Tens of millions of US voters who saw their economic future vanish overseas really take very cold comfort knowing that their TVs cost $300 instead of $400 now

Dimon is spouting a little bit of sanity. And of course he’s right. The benefits to the country far outweigh the negatives. We will fight inflation through growth, and the tariffs will be one of the tools to spur that growth.

Nice to hear a voice of sanity and reason out there.

What’s best for the country is what matters.

I would trust Dimon as far as I would trust Biden with my daughters.

In American history wasn’t the revolution about an end to British mercantilism? Also, it seems that tariffs were meant to raise funds but were never meant to be punitive to trade.

Even a globalist banker front man can utter a truth from time to time.

Not according to McKinley. I’m not sure what the Constitutional framers thought about them.
