Former Rep. Liz Cheney and Rep. Bennie Thompson, who were both on the House committee investigating the attack on Jan. 6, release a statement following pardons from Joe Biden in the last hours of his presidency. โWe have been pardoned not for breaking the law but for upholding it,โ the statement says.

SCOTUS said that if she accepts the pardon, it’s admission of guilt. Thus, Jan 6’ers have more standing to sue her.
Statement makes no sense, but will not be questioned by liberals and the MSNBC crowd.
Well, why donโt we rescind your pardon and have a court case to see if you did no wrong?
Whew! Dodged that bullet eh lizzie? But, as with fauxnocchio, anyone got money to launch a civil suit against her for rights violations?
She says the committee did not destroy any of the evidence or documents from the J6 committee theatre. It’s all there, and anyone who says they destroyed it is the dark side.
RE: โWe have been pardoned not for breaking the law but for upholding it,โ
Then you don’t need a pardon. That needs to be rescinded or if Liz Cheney had any honor left, she should publicly REFUSE it.
What a nutjob and dolt. That has got to be the stupidest comment I’ve heard.
You get a pardon for CRIMES, Liz.
โWe have been pardoned not for breaking the law but for upholding it,โ

Master gaslighter.
The New DOJ has to execute these pardons which might happen when there are actual charges drawn.
The jury is still out on that Lizard. Did you coach witnesses or destroy evidence for the defendents?

Breathtakingly Orwellian!
History will record:
Former Rep. Liz Cheney (Criminal)
So let it be written, so let it be done.
She is terrified and like many women (specifically shriEking harridans with no real sense of what a lady ACTUALLY is) she will just run her mouth thinking the more words she spouts will force others to believe her because she said so.
It is not about reason for her, it is all about emotional harassment.
Despicable female dog.
Charge her anyway and challenge these King Joe pardons in court. No one is above the law, remember?
F her these people are seditionists.
I watched that “committee” on television and suspect it helped elect Trump.
No first year law student, or anyone with common sense, could have thought the “evidence” and the bizarre conclusions they reached from it, made any sense.
Probably my favorite was Chris Matthews and Biden insist that Trump specifically denounce the Proud Boys at a debate. He says “Ok Proud Boys, stand down and stand by” but he also insists Antifa should be denounced.
J6 committee edits everything, then jumps to a Proud Boy in a parking garage somewhere who interprets this as a signal from Trump.
From that they conclude Trump is directly responsible for any actions taken by the Proud Boys!
And I submit Liz Cheney is not so stupid that she really believed it made any sense.
These are evil deep state operatives.
In Trump's America, you will be given the opportunity to fully explain that declaration of innocence.
Of course that opportunity will require you be put under oath.
If you turn down that opportunity, subpoenas will be forthcoming.
Your legal counsel will of course advise you that your Fifth Amendment rights have been stripped by the pardon and you are in legal of jeopardy of committing perjury.
The pardon only protects her from criminal liability, not civil liability. And it does nothing to stop an investigation into the matter, or charging others who conspired with her who are not pardoned. And because she’s no longer criminally liable, her 5th Amendment protection against self-incrimination no longer applies. So if, while being questioned under oath, she lies, she can be charged with that crime.
