U.S. President Donald Trump will not impose his promised tariffs on Canada, Mexico or China on his first day in office, according to multiple U.S. reports, giving this country something of a reprieve, at least for now.
Trump, who was sworn in as president just after noon on Monday, has been reviewing three options: a 25 per cent tariff on Canadian goods, a 10 per cent tariff on goods from all countries or an escalating tariff that starts low and rises over time, according to Canadian officials.
A Trump administration official confirmed to Reuters that the president will hold off for now and instead direct agencies in a memo to "investigate and remedy persistent trade deficits and address unfair trade and currency policies by other nations."

What better way to stir up support, than 'standing up' to the 'Orange Man Bad', who is imposing tariffs on Canaduh. That is ALSO what the Lieberals want to do, to try and save their sorry azzes.
By NOT imposing said sanctions, he's pulled the rug out from under their plans!
When Castreau and his entourage visited Mar-a-Lago, they were as well prepared as low intelligence globalist WEFer/MFer sociopaths could be, the only reason Castreau could give, to PDJT's question of, "Why not 25% tariffs?" was, 'Because Canaduh would dissolve!' ABSOLUTELY F'N BRILLIANT! A low information sociopath's response to a man who LIVES FOR NEGOTIATIONS!
Who went down to visit PDJT from Canaduh? ONLY ALBERTA Premier Danielle Smith! She impressed PDJT so much, that she was invited to stay overnight at Mar-a-Logo, and meet Sunday, also. Castreau et al? Heck no! They stayed at a different hotel. When did 'Thug' Ford go down and meet PDJT? HE DIDN'T!
Who took the time to discuss trade, with KNOWLEDGE of the subject? ONLY MRS. SMITH!
I firmly believe that she showed PDJT that the trade surplus was ALL OIL, OIL THAT THE US NEEDS, and that SOMEONE WITH INTELLIGENCE and a FOUR YEAR TERM, would be arriving shortly in Canaduh, someone that PDJT could make a WIN-WIN DEAL with!
Instead of being cheered in Canaduh, for NEGOTIATING FOR Canaduh, she was LAMBASTED as a TRAITOR to Canada by the Crime Minister and the other 12 PROVINCIAL AND TERRITORIAL PREMIERS (INCLUDING 'THUG' FORD) for NOT backing counter-tariffs!
Instead of THANKING Danielle Smith for NEGOTIATING the tariffs away, or at least postponing them, they LAMBASTED her for BUILDING A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with the President of our GREATEST NEIGHBOUR! A relationship that LIKELY SAVED Canada from destructive tariffs!
