Trump slams Biden for pardoning Fauci, Milley and Jan. 6 committee staffers in final hours of presidency: ‘Disgraceful’

resident Biden issued a string of 11th-hour pardons Monday to everyone from Dr. Anthony Fauci to members of the House panel that probed the Jan. 6 riots — a move blasted as “disgraceful’’ by President Trump.

“Many are guilty of MAJOR CRIMES!” Trump fumed to NBC News’ Kristen Welker.

Biden issued the pardons on his way out of the White House, just hours before Trump was due to be sworn in as the 47th commander-in-chief.

Some of the beneficiaries of Biden’s wide-ranging pardons included the truth-challenged former chief medical adviser Fauci, embattled retired General Mark Milley and members of the House committee that investigated the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol — including Liz Cheney.

“I believe in the rule of law, and I am optimistic that the strength of our legal institutions will ultimately prevail over politics,” Biden said in a statement. “But these are exceptional circumstances, and I cannot in good conscience do nothing.”

Biden, 82, lauded the nation’s “dedicated, selfless public servants,” but noted they have been subjected to “ongoing threats and intimidation for faithfully discharging their duties.”

“In certain cases, some have even been threatened with criminal prosecutions, including General Mark A. Milley, Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, and the members and staff of the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol,” the outgoing leader said.

“These public servants have served our nation with honor and distinction and do not deserve to be the targets of unjustified and politically motivated prosecutions,” he added.

Also on Biden’s preemptive pardon list was Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), who was on the Jan. 6 Committee and will serve as a ranking member of the house judiciary committee in the 119th Congress.

Have physicians examine him and declare him incompetent. Void everything Biden has been doing.

Fine. Fine. Fine. Pardon Fauscist. It’s not as if Republicans were going to hold him accountable anyway. Just tell us the truth as to what he did

Does the pardon only include the crimes they’ve committed during the Biden days ?

They should all be referred to as pardoned criminals from this point forward.

Biden... We didn’t commit any crimes while going after our opponent... But just in case... I’m pardoning everybody in my administration.

The left has been calling Trump a criminal for years... Today proved just who the real criminals were, are and have been for the past 4 years. One of the most corrupt administrations ever!

Exactly, Eagle. The full extent of the Republicans’ anger is the “sternly worded letter” and nothing more. The best we can hope for — as another freeper suggested — is always to refer to these folks as “pardoned criminals.”

He knew the whole J6 house of cards is going to come down and all these people would be in jeopardy.

What more than oversight could they do? The MSM didn't pick up on the revelations; the DOJ ignored them. Republicans' hands were tied.

Probably not Constitutional. He's no longer president, so it's too late to declare him incompetent.

And even if he were incompetent, does the Constitution allow you to "void" everything a president did during such a time? I don't know if that's ever been tested.

Everyone of them must be forced to testify truthfully about the crimes they committed. If they refuse to, they need to be charged, prosecuted and imprisoned like Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon were.

Trump's DOJ most certainly would have and must hold them accountable.

Those that weren't pardoned connect to their crimes must be prosecuted and those that were pardon for crimes must be forced to testify.
