KUTZTOWN, PA — Honoring the theme of love with universal symbols and imagery, the Postal Service has released the latest in its popular Love series stamps, featuring the work of iconic graphic artist Keith Haring. The Love (2025) Forever stamp features an untitled 1985 drawing by Haring that includes two moving figures reaching toward a red heart.
“The non-specificity of the figures allows a variety of people to see themselves in this stamp,” said Antonio Alcalá, an art director for USPS who selected Haring’s work for the stamp design.
Centered on a red heart with motion lines radiating toward two moving figures, Haring’s drawing suggests the figures are dancing in the presence of love. The joyful image allows the viewer to project their own meaning of love in the context of their choosing.

I just received a slick 50 page catalog from the USPS featuring this stamp on the cover. Inside, in addition to ordering the stamps, you can order note cards, love field notes, and a love stamp pin with cancellation card. All of these items feature the stamp's image.
It appears that the current USPS management is focusing on promoting woke ideology rather than on providing reliable and efficient mail service. An analogy can be drawn in comparison to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Two previous LGBTQ Stamps issued by the USPS are: Honoring gay activist Harvey Milk and incredibly Bugs Bunny in Drag.
“Art” has sure gotten ugly over the past several decades.
Stamps used to be works of art.
“Forever” is hubris.
It means the Empire is doomed.
Oh gag me with a spoon - that moron “artist” from the 80s
That stamp looks like two people are beating the crap out of the heart. That’s an ugly stamp.
..To establish post offices and post roads;..
Nowhere does it say Congress MUST establish post offices and roads.
Paging Elon Musk to the white courtesy phone...
SHUT IT DOWN!
Why not a Roman Polanski stamp?
WTF? That’s just disgusting.
I agree with you. Stamp images used to be engraved with nice contrast and brightness. Now most printed images today are dull, dark and drab even if a good subject.
I wonder how many people will actually buy this disgusting stamp?
How about George “Old Fatneck” Washington on the quarters! Both money and stamps used to be works of art, which beautifully represented the country that produced them.
When Bugs Bunny was in drag, it was always a send-up, just like Milton Berle ior Jonathan Winters in drag. Unfortunately, thise kind of jokes cannot be done anymore, because of wilfull misinterpretation.
Does the lesbian community think these figures are a fair representation?
I buy the Forever stamps with the US flag on them. After the postal service put out stamps commemorating ‘Eid’ nothing surprises me.
He was gay. He died of AIDS in 1990 at age 31.
There have been lots of “love” stamps, but none that awful. Who doesn’t like puppies and kittens?
A while back, I knew someone who would buy a years worth of Christmas forever stamps, to use on his correspondence throughout the year. Especially important letters got Medal of Honor stamps.
Have you noticed that the flag picture seems to change with each administration. With Obama there was a black background. they just changed recently to a four kinds of flags I would guess for trump.
