Donald Trump Calls Out Swamp Politicians Pence, Haley, and Others, Will Not Hire Their Staffers

President-elect Donald Trump is moving to drain the swamp yet again, and this time, he is making it clear that his administration does not want anyone who worked for, or is endorsed by, politicians suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome, providing a few examples.

“As of today, the incoming Trump Administration has hired over 1,000 people for The United States Government,” Trump announced on Truth Social on Thursday, describing them as “outstanding in every way.”

“… and you will see the fruits of their labor over the coming years. We will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and it will happen very quickly!” he exclaimed before making his request clear, highlighting several politicians he does not want staffers from. That includes former Vice President Mike Pence, former Rep. Paul Ryan, former U.S. ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley, and more:

In order to save time, money, and effort, it would be helpful if you would not send, or recommend to us, people who worked with, or are endorsed by, Americans for No Prosperity (headed by Charles Koch), “Dumb as a Rock” John Bolton, “Birdbrain” Nikki Haley, Mike Pence, disloyal Warmongers Dick Cheney, and his Psycho daughter, Liz, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, General(?) Mark Milley, James Mattis, Mark Yesper, or any of the other people suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome, more commonly known as TDS.

“Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump added

I love the question mark after “General”. My money says he won’t be a General much longer.

Bolton was on Newsmax tonight with Rob Schmitt or Rob Finnerty — Finnerty, I think. The Rob confronted Bolton about this Trump announcement, and they had a pretty good argument going on. VERY “robust”.

Bolton has a monumentally smashable face; I hate that guy. He is a nasty, nasty man.

How does it work? Since Milley is an officer by act of Congress, can Trump only bust him down to 2nd lieutenant without a court martial? Or is ac court martial needed for any reduction in rank?

“Personnel is Policy” was a wise 1980 Reagan slogan.

Trump didn’t have the luxury of a good Rolodex or kitchen cabinet in 2016.

But the four year Biden interlude gave him time to assemble loyal allies in place of backstabbing Bush Republicans.

Since he is retired they can recall him to active duty and then expose him to a courts Martial.
You really don’t want to screw up if you are an officer.
With power and prestige comes greater consequences.

Your comment made me curious. When Truman fired MacArthur.

"President Truman’s main concern was saving as many lives as possible, even if that meant signing a ceasefire along the 38th parallel. General MacArthur did not think a ceasefire was an appropriate solution. The two men clashed. For Truman, the war represented an opportunity to stop the spread of communism into South Korea. For MacArthur, the war was an opportunity to liberate the North from communist control, and aggressive action was required."

"MacArthur thwarted Truman’s attempt to negotiate a ceasefire when the general ordered his troops to invade North Korea and push the NKPA up past the 38th parallel. This was not the first time the general had ignored direct orders from his Commander in Chief. On April 11, 1951, President Truman officially relieved Douglas MacArthur of his command. Word of his firing spread quickly, and the American public found the news upsetting. Truman felt that his decision was just because MacArthur had overstepped his authority, defied direct orders from his superior and interfered with Truman’s hope of ending the Korean War quickly."

I think Lincoln fired a few generals as well.

When we won World War II we did it with a total of FOUR generals. Now we have almost 50 and they can’t beat a stone-age hellhole. I’m guessing lots of generals need to go...

This is incredibly smart. In DC, it is the staff that negotiate the language in legislation, that work with agencies on legislation implementation, coordinate with lobbyists, and...........tell the elected officials how to vote.

Often time when a legislator retires or is replaced by someone of the same political party, almost the entire staff is retained as “they” actually run the office and “run” the legislator, including how they shake down lobbyists for campaign contributions.

There use to be comments about term limits for legislators. I always felt that term limits on staff would have been more effective.

Absolutely. And the deep staters are soiling their pants.
I’m glad the inauguration is indoors.
