He should allow the truth to be exposed and let the consequences be whatever they are BUT also find a pretext to make sure that instead of DC and NY, all the trials are in Florida or Texas so it will have a chance to be fair and not auto-acquit.

Trump doesn’t even have to make up law. All he has to do is follow the law. So simple, even a lawyer can understand how it works. Even Democrat lawyers.

Exactly. Forgiveness can follow justice, but justice only comes from true repentance and/or restitution, but if the perpetrator is unwilling or unable to give those, justice must come in the form of punishment. They might try to call it "revenge", but that's not what this would be.
