I, too, love this portrait, Macho MAGA Man.

And exactly how do you make a split vision face like that?  Very hard to do.  Sure, a Clint Eastwood can fake a snarling face.  But producing a double-face takes real skill!

Yet here's a man whose very character and life history exemplifies this magnificent duality: a benign face to the hard working, law abiding citizen, and a defiant stare of justice to the wicked: "Don't TREAD on ME!"

Trump should mail this portrait to De Niro with a handwritten note at the bottom: "This is how it's done, bonehead!"

Trump’s right eye is partly closed. I would have picked the photo that had both eyes open.

Having that eye partly closed conveys quiet anger and determination in my opinion. The whole portrait screams that there will be hell to pay.

My first thought too. However, being one who has shot around 5,000 portraits, I would have worked for the expression that said the same thing--with both eyes open. The eyes are the windows of the soul. With the numerous weddings I have photographed, the expressions were something I worked hard for.
