Smith gave the stenographers in the corporate media everything they needed to keep hyperventilating about Jan. 6 before Trump’s inauguration.
The propaganda press dutifully fell in line with regime messaging Tuesday, as nearly every corporate media outlet ran with headlines claiming President-elect Donald Trump would have been convicted in the Jan. 6 case if he lost re-election — because lawfare specialist Jack Smith said so.
Smith, the former special counsel charged with weaponizing the justice system to go after Trump, released his report on the Jan. 6 prosecution, which was designed for a woefully uncurious media complex to regurgitate nonsense about the bogus case.
“The Department’s view that the Constitution prohibits the continued indictment and prosecution of a President is categorical and does not turn on the gravity of the crimes charged, the strength of the Government’s proof, or the merits of the prosecution, which the Office stands fully behind,” he wrote. “Indeed, but for Mr. Trump’s election and imminent return to the Presidency, the Office assessed that the admissible evidence was sufficient to obtain and sustain a conviction at trial.”
That’s all she wrote, as far as the gleeful stenographers in corporate media were concerned. Smith made it easy for them — they didn’t even have to read the report — all they had to do was skip to the last paragraph to find what Smith wanted them to write about. And they did, time, and time, and time again.

Isn’t this the same Jack Smith the SCOTUS rules 0-9 against when his cases are presented?
He has no right to say Trump is guilty...
Leftists love government and unquestioningly trust its apparatchiks.
Still got that pesky issue of Judge Cannon ruling that Jack does not exist. No comment from the Garland DOJ.
They have five days.

at this point
i dont even believe his name is jack or smith
SPIT
His name IS Jack, and his last name starts with “S”. But it’s clear you don’t know Jack S#$%+. (No offense to you intended)
/-)
good one
The Far-let, turd rolling assassins are still wishing they could have killed president Trump. They always new putting him in jail for nothing was going to be a long shot.
Smith was illegally appointed. Garland created a Federal office out of thin air, with out authority from Congress. Both Garland and Smith are lawless, attempting to overthrow an elected President. (Sound familiar?)
The sycophantic press, who also care not one whit about the law, do their bidding by shoving this crap out in front of the low information voters who watch CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC, attempting to foment insurrection by the left.
Not many asses on the left Trump hasn’t kicked and still doing it.
Mao not pleased
YOU BET
INTERESTING HOW A PERSON IN A JOB SLOT HE WAS NEVER LEGALLY OCCUPYING CAN BE SO MEDIA DESIRED.
THEY ALL ARE ILLEGITIMATE
It is even doubtful that Smith even has a license to practice law in the US (which is a prerequisite to be a DOJ psecial prosecutor) This whole time, he may have been practicing law without a license. Lawless, is right.
The corrupt propaganda Press thought Fani and her boyfriend would win ... and that Kamala would win. And that Trump was finished after the Russia, Russia, Russia crap. They thought Biden was ‘sharp as a tack’ too.
The left is pushing a dangerous precedent here. If Trump could be found guilty of trying to steal the election based on what he said, then so could everyone who pushed “Russia, Russia, Russia”.
There was no crime: Not a crime to hold a rally; Not a crime to encourage a peaceful protest. I’m not persuaded that the small percentage of the rally that went to Congress committed any crimes either beyond a boisterous protest. Even that crowd was predominantly not inside of congress and those that did go inside were by and large ushered peacefully walking around. That’s what the cameras say.
So, criminalizing President Trump, when he wasn’t even there for what is obviously legal - as shown at yesterday’s hegseth hearing when protesters demonstrated - is clearly false prosecution under color of law. Persecution. Lawfare.
Case closed, but congress and the president must expunged it.
It’s a smear. Smith hasn’t proven any of it in court.
I had expected that some of these people would tone it down a bit after Trump’s big win, and some have. But the truly deranged continue to keep it up, knowing full well they’re in the minority. It’s ingrained. Sad, really.
