President-elect Donald Trump has called for California Governor Gavin Newsom to resign as the Los Angeles wildfires continue to rage on, making the city look apocalyptic.
The call for resignation comes after Trump said Newsom, who he refers to as ‘Gavin Newscum,” was at fault for the disaster, criticizing him for focusing on environmental policies over those of the residents in the Golden State.
In a new Truth Social post, Trump called on Newsom (D-Calif.) to resign, emphasizing his stance that the governor is “at fault” for the disaster.
Trump wrote: “One of the best and most beautiful parts of the United States of America is burning down to the ground. It’s ashes, and Gavin Newscum should resign. This is all his fault!!!”
While speaking to CNN’s Anderson Cooper amid the figures in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Newsom looked visibly hurt by the remarks by Trump.
“People are literally fleeing. People have lost their lives. Kids lost their schools, families completely torn asunder, churches burned down,” he said.

Newsom is term-limited as governor. But if he could run for reelection, he’d win. Because these terrible fires were not caused by Democrat incompetence. No, it was something else.

The train cost is the total budget for the entire project. IMO, it’ll probably hit $200 billion before the first train runs.
The homeless and illegal costs are annual costs.

If Congress/States have amended the Constitution to say Smelts then Trump is wrong on this as all government officials take an Oath to support the Constitution and not the People and it would be right for Newsom to be sticking up for the Smelts as part of his Oath of Office. I’m going to check the Constitution to see what it says on this topic in order to determine whether Trump or Newsom is right on this.
