California lawmakers are offering their comfort to families shaken by ravaging wildfires in Los Angeles County that have forced thousands to evacuate after flames emerged on Tuesday morning.

“We are closely monitoring the LA fires and are greatly concerned and heartbroken by the devastation,” Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) wrote in a Wednesday post on X.

“I’ve also been in contact with Chief Buchanan and the @LBFD, who has deployed response units to Pacific Palisades and Pasadena. We are all grateful for local firefighters and first responders from across the county and the state, who are working hard to protect our region,” he wrote in a subsequent statement.

California officials are still investigating the cause of the wildfires that have engulfed homes in the area. State leaders are encouraging their constituents to heed evacuation orders as weather alerts warn of “extreme fire behavior.”

“We are ‘Concerned and heartbroken’ but we will continue to waste tens of billions on illegals and more tens of billions on the stupid ‘high speed rail’ to nowhere.”

Elected representatives who thought cutting from the fire department budget instead of anything else, was the correct answer.

And what ever ya do, do not talk about the hundreds of electric vehicles/bicycles burning, emitting a whole lot of toxic smoke/fumes all over the region.

And when the Santa Ana winds subside, all that off-shore super toxic smoke comes back on shore.

Btw, the genius moderator deleted two threads regarding this real dangerous threat. Lets home most in the LA region understand this.

Tens of billions of dollars allocated for the homeless has vanished and no one is even looking for it.

Criminal negligence not maintaining hydrant water pressure.

It was not due to a lack of water.

It was negligence.

When it rains in LA, *trillions* of gallons from the surrounding mountains flow all the way to the ocean. For 50 years people have been asking why have no large reservoirs been created.

It’s greed...They want to charge top dollar for water...Just like electricity.

When I was growing up here in SoCal in the 60’s, citizens were allowed to drive on all the forest roads in Angeles Crest and all othe National Forests in the State. It was encouraged and Very LEGAL to scavenge for and take any and all Downed Branches for firewood use at home. They had Prison Crews as well as Regular crews that actually Cleaned up ther undergrowth and prevented these wildfires from becoming out of control. By the time I got my license in 1975 it was all SHUTDOWN.

After the Birth and Rise of the SIERRA CLUB in the early 70’s, it became ILLEGAL to do most anything in the National Forest. Especially CLEAN UP DOWNED TREES AND BRANCHES

It’s their own self induced liberalism climate change insanity agenda that’s killing California and now they are reaping the fruit they have sown! Didn’t hear them protesting against the insurance companies who pulled out of California a few months ago? Probably the insurance companies paid them under the table to keep their mouth shut. So It’s all kabuki theater… believe me they’re shedding fake crocodile tears while they’re lining their pockets in their own comfortable safe and cushy offices in DC . To the rats their peasants suffering mean nothing to them! But I bet you anything all of this is going to be blamed on Trump. Like that idiot that posted on X that all of this falls on Trump‘s hands. She got roasted like a marshmallow being roasted in the fires of California. This is how incredibly ignorant our citizens are. Honestly they think Trump is president already …figurely certified yes but in office not until 20th. You would think dementia Joe would’ve been hammered by now. But no it’s Trump who is getting hammered. Incredible!… the ignorance of some stupid Americans!

hey, robert, good thing all the emergency and fire equipment, large and small, haven’t yet had to be thrown away because they’re powered by baaaaaaad fossil fuels and replaced with equipment powered by good, clean renewable batteries ....

oh well, maybe they’ll be fully replaced in time for the next major conflagration ...

i’m pretty sure the voters of california will keep approving this insanity until the entire state lies in ashes ...
