President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday repeated his threat that "all hell will break out" if Hamas does not agree to release hostages it has held in Gaza by the time he returns to the White House on Jan. 20.
The comments came during a press conference at Mar-a-Lago where Trump aired a long list of complaints about a wide range of issues, ranging from President Biden's new ban on offshore drilling, to his various legal cases, to the Panama Canal.
Negotiations between Hamas and Israel are ongoing in Qatar, with Hamas this week naming 34 hostages in Gaza — including two dual U.S. citizens — it would be willing to release in a ceasefire deal.
Steve Witcoff, Trump's envoy to the Middle East, joined Trump briefly and told reporters that "we're making a lot of progress" in trying to free hostages held by Hamas, and that he was "really hopeful that by the inaugural we'll have some good things to announce."

In the previous term, the constant terms were “the walls are closing in” and “this could be the beginning of the end”.
So far, in this term, every news story seems to discuss the “threats” that Trump is making to somebody about something. I see it over and over.

My heart breaks for those hostages. They were just minding their own business one day, hurting no one, and in swoops evil and ruins their whole lives. Terrorizes them and does abominable things to them. I don’t care about Palestinians now any more than I care about my own spit.
I wish he wouldn’t make these kind of statements. Like he’s going to end the Ukraine war on day one too.

It's keeping us out of WWIII. If Russia thought that WWIII was their best option, they would have started it while Biden was Resident.
Hamas made the mistake of bringing out the Americam Hostage, and making him beg the US and Trump for release.
And by the way, for all the idiots who think we want WWIII, the first thing that happens when our war goes hot with Ukraine is China takes Taiwan and other moves on the far East. That is what happens when you allow the CIA to create your own strategic distraction. It’s the dubmest thing we ever did as a country. We are over our heads in debt, our allies are giving their countries away to Muslims and we are armed for wars we cannot win in deserts that we don’t want.
