A Colorado law that went into effect January 1, 2025, requires guns in vehicles to be kept in locked containers.

Breitbart News pointed out numerous new gun controls go into effect in California on January 1, 2025, among them a law that requires licensed gun dealers to warn would-be gun purchasers of the alleged dangers of gun ownership.

California leads the nation in gun control and Colorado has been leaning more and more toward adopting California-style gun controls. Beginning July 1, 2025, Coloradans who want a concealed carry permit will have to take an eight-hour training course as part of their certification process.

Long ago, I worked for a wholesale company who sold firearms and ammo (as sideline) and Colorado was one of the largest purchasers of firearms and ammo.
Leftism is a destroyer of Nations, States and Municipalities. Once in control, the legal system goes completely Insane.
This one should not comply with the 2nd Amendment. (That does not seem important to the #ComDem's)
Where you see "snip", I cut out a quote from USA Today. What they said is irrelevant to the article, read entire article if you want, but I don't think it is worth the click for the enemy.
A vehicle can be a container, can’t it? Am I right? Just lock your doors. Simple. Defend it in court.
Wow. That will be convenient in a pinch...
Colorado has been ruined by Californians and other assorted leftist kooks moving there.
Apparently, voting Coloradans are for the most part insane leftists. What is the logic behind having a permit to conceal carry when you can’t carry inside your vehicle? Next is a law that says you can’t carry “close to” your vehicle. What absolute idiocy.
I wonder if they’ll have police lurking near gun shops, waiting to nail people that haven’t locked up their new merchandise.
If a leftist wants to use thier free speach they must first submit it in writing to be approved by a maga citizen to ensure the words will not harm anyone.
“USA Today reported on the law taking effect, noting “any handgun stored inside an **unoccupied** vehicle in Colorado must be in a locked, hard-sided container that is out of plain view,”
Try reading before freaking out.
1979 Rangely Colorado, about 100 miles north of Grand Junction on the north side of the rockies we got pulled over one day by the sheriff while screwing around in the mountains. 308 rifle in the gun rack and he wanted to know if it was loaded, my friend looks at him and says NO in unloaded. Sheriff lost his micd and began screaming at him to keep that rifle loaded at all times, he is sick and tired of finding the remains of greenhorns that were eaten by the wildlife.
This is the result of fraudulent mail-in voting and corruptocrats getting into power.
The state is really not as blue as everyone thinks.
DISOBEY
The law also states that a locked glove compartment will suffice.
CO is CA, Jr.
A quality truck toolbox is handy. Down here majority of vehicle break-ins are looking for weapons and you’d be surprised (maybe not) at how many morons leave one under the seat or in console. If it isn’t on your person lock it up.
See #15.
The Californication of Colorado continues apace. :-(
But when your citizens freely elect a f’n FAGGOT as governor, well... bend over!
Don’t confuse these idiots with facts, they live to freak out about nothing.
