President Biden addressed the nation on Sunday in the wake of former President Jimmy Carter's death, commending the late statesman while also taking a swipe at the current president-elect during his speech
Biden, who sounded hoarse during the speech, said he "lost a dear friend" on Sunday, noting that he had known Carter for more than 50 years. Carter passed away in Plains, Georgia, at the age of 100, after nearly two years of being in hospice care.
During his remarks, Biden said Carter is a model "of what it means to live a life of meaning and purpose, a life of principle, faith and humility."

My fondest memory of Jimmy Carter was when he was replaced with Ronald Reagan, bar none. Decency at its core, something Biden knows zip, zero, nada about.

I recall when Joe and Dr. Jill visited the home of the late Jimmy Carter and his wife June.
The Biden s probably didn’t mean to do it, but that was a very odd group portrait, show all four people together. Joe and Jill looked normal, whereas
Due to advanced age and illness, both Carter’s looked shrunken and sharply diminished in size. June, in particular had a large looking head in proportion to her body.
Jill is clever enough to have planned it that way.
