As I have stressed in past columns pertaining to Ukraine, it seems that honest, unbiased and factual reporting is on the wane in the Age of Trump. With regard to this Gaetz saga, Mollie Hemingway — the editor-in-chief of The Federalist — has done some truly exceptional reporting on the case.
To that very point, this past Monday, Hemingway posted on X: “Sometimes I feel like I was the only reporter to look into the details of the Gaetz allegations. That’s how I learned the accuser is in prison for making the same false sex-with-minors accusation against someone else.”
Prior to that, Hemingway had authored a detailed article on Nov. 17 headlined, “House Probe Into Matt Gaetz Relies On Witnesses DOJ Found Lacked Credibility.” Keep in mind, that was the Biden-Harris Department of Justice.
This back and forth on the Gaetz case aside, the left’s non-stop bloodlust to sensationalize, embarrass, gloat or fundraise off the report demonstrates that not only did they learn nothing from the election results, which embarrassed their candidate and their party, but that they continue to drown out the voices of the two constituencies they were once most identified with protecting: the working class and the disenfranchised.
Come Nov. 6, it seems as if Democrats instantly went back to their kneejerk strategy of sliming and smearing Republicans, while also resurfacing their fantasy to impeach Trump yet again and demonizing his personality and words while ignoring his successful policies.

Of all the nincompoopery I have seen over the past 20 years, nothing has left me as flat-footed as the tendency of some Americans to place dedication to a political party over their own well-being and that of the country.
Allow me to clarify that: their dedication to the DEMOCRAT party.
In this age of ready information about ANY topic, issue, or politician, how this party continues to have such influence over ANY person astounds me, given its platform and history.
Future historians are going to wonder how this party EVER survived in an, alleged, free society.
My guess at the time he resigned congress for the AG nomination and then bailed was to remove the investigation tailing him allowing trump to nominate Bondi and to join Bondi as assist AG which is an assigned post. Would be nice
It's the result of a massive, almost 100-year long campaign of Marxist indoctrination—starting in colleges and universities in the 1920s and then spreading to the government, the media, K-12 education, and even corporations.

Correct on all counts.
I call them the “team” players, as in...

And this is how we end up with the turtle, and so on...
Politics is not a team sport.
Democrats are fishing for anything to to hide their action of how many time their slush fund had paid off women for sex.
It is also wise to actually learn something from a win. 🤔🤔
The irony here is it was Gaetz’s own partisanship which led to his ultimate undoing.

Meh...no one put a gun to Gaetz head and forced him to pal around with that sleeze bag Greenburg, he did that willingly.
No one forced him to resign his House seat either. In fact, he still has a few more days to change his mind about that.
The list goes on and on...and Gaetz himself knows it.

This small detail is kind of important when throwing around allegations of statutory rape.
