Homan: Suspected Subway Killer Got Benefits the Homeless Aren’t
Breitbart ^ | 12/24/2024 | Ian hatchett

During an interview with the Fox Business Network on Tuesday, incoming Border Czar Tom Homan stated that the illegal immigrant suspected of murdering a woman on the New York City subway system by setting her on fire got government benefits, but his victim and some homeless people in New York don’t.

Homan said, “[Y]ou think about it, this illegal alien that burned this young lady alive, he probably had a free hotel room, three squares a day, … gets free medical attention, … but this young homeless person, she [doesn’t] have anything and she died a horrendous death.”

This is one case that really cries out for "an eye for an eye" justice.
Perhaps congress can make it a federal capital crime for an illegal alien
to murder an American citizen.

A “federal crime?” Then Biden can pardon him. I prefer the Oklahoma or Texas system.

In the mean time the truly “homeless” who have no physical address or are living in their car can’t receive one thing... The system is broken.

The diabolically sinful act by the illegal is beyond belief.

From what I understand, many mentally ill, or drugged out people use public transportation as “housing”...opening up themselves, when sleeping or overdosed, to be destroyed by others. If so, what a terrible , sickening confluence of human activity and choice.

Very sad and exacerbated by the leftist war on mental institutions.
It is difficult to accept that some individuals are a danger to themselves and others and that those individuals require confinement. Sometimes there are no good solutions only imperfect ones.
The drive to deinstitutionalize was fueled by a kind of compassion w/o accountability. No pilot study or followup just abandonment of those who could not cope into an indifferent world and a morass of hit or miss non-solutions by self congratulatory activists.

Sorry to say, but most shelters are full of drugs & semi-criminals and just aren’t safe, especially for women ... so they take their chances on the subway or buses, thinking they’ll be safer there with people and cameras around

Good point. But it's the only way you have a chance of giving this fiend the death penalty in New
York. In other states, the state law will still bring a monster to justice, presidential pardons or not.

I like Homan but he’s not consistent with his statements about this - the illegal GOT government benefits and PROBABLY free housing, medical etc.

I saw a show he did with Dr. Phil on Merit Street Media last week..good interview but my goodness, he talks so fast - without a pause or a hmmmm or “know what I’m saying?”, I had trouble following him. I couldn’t listen THAT FAST...

I’ve always wondered why liberals shower newcomers with “help” while ignoring all the people in need around them. The people who are in need are part of the background, like the curbs, the asphalt, the trash cans. They’re not important. But the newcomers are constituents in potential. They’re the bright, shiny new thing and an opportunity to demonstrate what wonderful people us politicians are. We already know you can shower the poor with help, and nothing will come of it for ourselves. There won’t be any additional votes. And most importantly, no publicity, no good feelings of superiority, etc. Just the hard work of giving an opportunity for someone to succeed. What a wasted effort that would be.

As a low-end landlord, I’ve attempted several times to give people a helping hand. Maybe once or twice it actually helped. But more often than not I draw back a bitten hand. I tend to be very circumspect now.

Was the victim ever identified?

I’m also wonder how she burst into flames so quickly.

Sad, very sad. Mayorkas is responsible for this, along with Biden.
