It is crucial to understand how so-called "priorities" and "guidelines" have been used to hobble Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers and Border Patrol agents in their attempts to enforce the immigration laws...What follows is a brief history of such non-enforcement...going back five administrations.

People from Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico countries that are dangerous - Haiti - or repressive - Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua - can be flown directly into the USA, from ANY location in the world.

Last time I checked, more than 1 million had been flown into the USA.

Dade County and Broward County (Miami and Fort Lauderdale) have received close to 250,000 of them.

When I was a kid (1950s/1960s) one would frequently see ads on TV toward the end of the year reminding aliens that they had to report their address...and other things...to the Immigration Service. I'm gonna check youtube to see if anyone's posted a video of it. Of course if anyone did try to post such a thing youtube may very well deleted it because it was “xenophobic”.
