The British-born wife of deposed Syrian president Bashar al-Assad is not seeking a divorce, a Kremlin spokesman has said.
Reports in Turkish media had suggested Asma al-Assad wanted to end her marriage and leave Russia, where she and her husband were granted asylum after a rebel coalition overthrew the former president's regime and took control of Damascus.
Asked about the reports in a news conference call, Dmitry Peskov said, "No, they do not correspond to reality."
He also denied reports that Assad had been confined to Moscow and that his property assets had been frozen.
But reports in Turkish media on Sunday suggested the Assads were living under severe restrictions in the Russian capital

She’s got leukemia so she wants to go to London to get appropriate treatment. Doubtful she would come back though once she’s gone. She’s a British citizen from a prominent family.
How can she file for divorce when she’s trying to jump out of that window? There’s just something about Russian windows that makes people want to do that.

If she sought medical treatment in any Western Nation, she would be assassinated or persecuted, because she is Bashar al-Assad's wife.

Undoubtedly Assad would order her to divorce him (to save her life), making her a Western Propaganda tool, which would allow her to travel to the UK.
Unfortunately, MI-6 will attempt to assassinate her and Frame the Russians, like they Framed Trump with Russia, Russia, Russia.
Most likely the Russians have advised Assad of this, thus the conflicting reports from the MI-6 publicity department, the BBC.
Her family is quite prominent in the UK. Her mother is a former diplomat. I seriously doubt anyone would bother to assasinate her. She’ll no doubt have private security.
You underestimate the Degeneracy of MI-6.
