Senator-Elect John Curtis (R-UT) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that he has no qualms about speaking up when he disagreed with President-elect Donald Trump.
Curtis said, “You know, it’s very important to me that President Trump is successful. I want to see him wildly successful, and I’ll be supportive of him when he’s talking about inflation and the economy and everything like that. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be moments when I disagree with him. And I think it’s very important to me and my constituents that — that at those moments that I feel comfortable speaking up.”

“GOP Senator-Elect John Curtis: I Will Speak Up When I Disagree with Trump”
Did he say that BEFORE his Primary earlier this year, or before the election in November?

How noble is betrayal anyway? There are far too many Uniparty clowns in the GOP that need to be primaried out of office.

I don’t think Trump would be offended by this. Evidence is Trump is always looking for new perspective, to discuss issues.

IIRC DJT carried Utah by something like 65-30. Doesn’t this clown understand that the huge majority of Utah’s residents like, respect and trust Trump?

He will be a one term senator.
I expect Bill Cassidy, John Cornyn and Tom Tillis to lose their primary the next time their term is up. Those decrepit RINO’s gotta go. /spit

Well, he needs to 'speak up' in private because most of us are sick of the MSM playing our people against each other. AND he needs to remember we're a TEAM. AND he's on the team and to stop thinking he's the only person who matters. No more Romney crap...

I have no problem saying if I disagree with Trump on something, but regardless, I would never side with a Democrat on anything.

Why announce it ahead of time on Big Media TV?
I'll tell you why.
Because Curtis is a big anti MAGA concern troll.

From what I’m hearing from friends and relatives over there on the Louisiana side, a snowball in hell stands a better chance than this traitorous SOB....

He told the audience and commentators that he wants Trump to be successful. And if he doesn’t agree he will speak up. Sounds like a good trait in an elected official. Every newly elected official needs to bow at the alter of the legacy MSN. So I don’t read much into it.

When ABC is kissing your Republican butt it means they hope you'll be a traitor. AND Curtis needs to remember we're a TEAM. AND he's on the team and to stop thinking he's the only person who matters. We want Trump to win for the sake of the country. Period. No more RomneyLite crap...

Oh boy. Another "fiscal conservative but social liberal." These SOB's are so ubiquitous, every time one dies off another one pops up to take its place.
