KILLEEN, Texas — Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Bryan Washko said a person who drove through the Killeen mall Saturday night was shot and killed by authorities.
It started around 5 p.m. when a DPS trooper tried to pull over a person driving a black truck near the intersection of I-35 and I-14 in Belton. He refused to stop and eventually exited I-14 and drove into the Killeen parking lot and through the front doors of the JC Penney, Washko said.

He crashed into the mall after a 19 mile chase.
My guess is that the car was stolen, and the guy thought he could bail into the mall and lose himself into the crowd.

That is NO reason to do what he did. Lots of people have problems and don’t drive cars into malls.
Criminals have become totally embolden.
By the lack of prosecution in many places.
By the lack of proper penalties for their actions.

DPS can say that and take no heat because the Texas Rangers are doing the investigation. The Rangers probably will not say anything like that, because ... Texas Rangers.

Shooting in the same mall 2 years ago. Number of years ago guy drove through a eating establishment and shot a bunch of people. Killeen is a $h!t show, I make no effort to “go their” for something
