Reuters awarded $300M in contracts as 11 federal agencies investigated Elon Musk’s companies Tesla and SpaceX.
The Biden administration reportedly awarded $300 million in government contracts to Reuters while 11 federal agencies conducted investigations into Elon Musk’s companies—Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, and X (formerly Twitter). The timing of the contracts has drawn scrutiny, especially as Reuters earned a Pulitzer Prize for its reporting on “misconduct” at Musk’s businesses during this period.
Critics claim the funding raises ethical concerns, alleging that taxpayer dollars were used to undermine Musk, a figure widely regarded as one of America’s most prominent innovators. Musk’s companies have played a central role in advancing industries ranging from electric vehicles to aerospace technology. Supporters argue the investigations and reporting are part of legitimate government oversight and journalistic efforts.
Investigations into Musk’s Companies
According to available reports, multiple federal departments and independent agencies, including the Department of Justice, Transportation, and Labor, were simultaneously involved in oversight, investigations, or legal actions against Musk’s businesses. Additionally, agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) targeted regulatory or compliance matters at Tesla, SpaceX, and Neuralink.
The oversight ranged from alleged labor law violations and environmental compliance to safety protocols at manufacturing plants. The coordinated nature of these actions, combined with Reuters’ Pulitzer-winning coverage, has fueled speculation of a broader agenda.
Reuters’ investigative series focused on workplace conditions, safety standards, and corporate governance issues within Musk’s enterprises. While praised for uncovering key details, critics argue the reporting amplified negative narratives against Musk at a politically charged moment.
“These investigations are routine when you’re operating at such scale,” said financial analyst Jacob Peters. “However, awarding significant contracts to media entities covering these businesses raises questions about impartiality.”

Corruption and money laundering are a huge part of the global economy. The real Rich are propped up by tax revenues from regular people. Government, entertainment, media of all types are basically parasites feeding off people who produce things. It’s a vast circular ecosystem. As George Carlin said: “It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it.”
On the other hand, it is not a healthy situation for the country's richest man who is doing a lot of business with the feds to have so much influence without structural accountability. I have no doubt of the good faith and honorable intentions of Elon Musk but I don't like the precedent.
And Musk rolled them anyway!
Thomson Reuters (TSX/NYSE: TRI)
Thomson is major information supplier and publisher.
Obviously there is no end to the treachery doled out by democrats and their deep state criminal cabal.
Government paying news agencies to create dirt on a business or individual is Soviet Style crap. They have been paying Scripps and Associated Press to do the very same.
Likely outcomes:
Tesla will be given to Ford;
SpaceX given to NASA;
Starlink given to CBS.
The rest of Musk’s companies will be sold or auctioned off. Musk will get 30 to life. If he’s lucky, he’ll be in the same cell block as Trump.

This supports the recent pattern of identifying Biden as a helpless, failing old man from the git-go.
Obviously, an attempt to define him as incapable of this corruption.
I can thing of no circumstance or legitimate inherently governmental reason why the federal government would be contracting with the media for anything.
Other than buying commercial time for military recruiting there is nothing the fed/gov has justification for expending tax payer fund to the media.
More likely, mysterious fatal accidents involving members of the former Biden administration and the Deep State.
BROTHER! You said a mouthful!
Soros.
I’d like to see his claw back that money as soon as Trump gets in office
Stating the obvious, obviously.
LOL
Oh yeah right. Actually all of Musk’s companies will be given to CCP party leaders.
Then Trump and Musk will die in AF-1 taken down by a Chinese drone.
