A pediatric vaccine for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is proving to be elusive, according to news from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
RSV is a highly contagious, common respiratory virus that infects the nose, throat, and lungs. And while it does not usually cause severe illness in healthy adults and children, some people with RSV infection, especially older adults and infants younger than 6 months of age, can become very sick and may need to be hospitalized.
But enrollment for all clinical studies of infant RSV vaccines is now on hold due to safety concerns, explained a Dec. 11 briefing document from the FDA that was released ahead of a meeting of the FDA's Vaccine and Related Biologic Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC) last week. The document notes that a phase 1 trial of two experimental Moderna RSV vaccines in infants aged five to eight months was paused in July. The pause came after five cases of severe to very severe lower RSV respiratory tract infections were reported among the 40 babies who received the vaccine dose, compared with just one case in the placebo group of 20. Five infants required hospitalization, with one needing mechanical ventilation.

Nobody needs rsv vaccine. RFK Jr. We need you now.
Where do they get the infants?
I can’t imagine any parent allowing their baby get experimental drugs
safe AND effective
Then why….?
“Where do they get the infants?
I can’t imagine any parent allowing their baby get experimental drugs”
EXACTLY! The parents need to be flogged.
I think I just had RSV. It didn’t put me in bed but it was a nasty cough with a lot of junk in my throat. Took about 3 weeks to go away. Had a .5 degree fever for one day. I’m fine with all that as opposed to a shot. First time I’ve been sick since about a month before COVID started, which may have been COVID. Felt like a flu. No shots for anything the entire way.
Oh, and my wife didn’t catch it.
That is exactly what I am just getting over. For 3 weeks I’ve had a nasty ‘cold’. Cough, congestion, sore throat. I thought for sure my wife and daughter would catch it but, they never did.
My twins almost died of RSV when they were 6 weeks old. One has a brain injury, and the other one has terrible asthma. When they have kids, I think their kids would be a candidate for a vaccine.
I also get really sick from RSV. It can take me months to fully recover.
Two years ago, RSV was a children's disease.
Time to short Moderna again, eh?
Moderna rolled this out( and the fears) after the covid “vaccines” were drying up profits.
There’s no way preventing every illness is possible.
Nor is it desirable. It’s good for the immune system to get a work out actually fighting disease like it’s designed to do.
As I see it, the biggest problem is not the illness but people not being careful to watch for signs of serious complications and getting them treated promptly, and correctly.
Course, it would help if the hospitals didn’t enact protocols designed to off people, but that’s another issue.
Then there's really no need to vaccinate them against this.
It's fear mongering to insist everyone get vaccinated *just in case*.
If it develops into something serious enough to require hospitalization, then do it and stop messing with people's immune systems in the name of trying to protect them.
In your case, that’s wise.
But for most people, there’s no point.
When we go to war, some will die, some will survive.
When police and fire do their duty, some are lost.
Some roofers or iron workers are lost.
Some are guinea pigs for new drugs, new foods.
By what criteria do we judge risky activity?
A moral cause? good vs evil?
A numbers game? If we only lose a few it is worth it?

Just horrific.
“The Pfizer jabs are all full of SV40. SV40 was what we put into mice to make them grow tumors...and we’re putting this into humans. These people behind Moderna and Pfizer are just pure, pure evil…and they must be held to account…”

I missed the sore throat but that gunk in my throat and maybe lower was hard to cough up and spit out, it was like glue.
