ATLANTA - Reports of mysterious drone sightings continue to come in from cities across the United States, including several in and around metro Atlanta. The flying objects were first spotted in the northeastern U.S. the week before Thanksgiving, and have since captivated the nation’s curiosity.
Despite federal officials saying there’s no threat to public safety, some residents believe it’s cause for concern.
"A lot of people are scared and don’t know what’s going on," Cobb County resident Britain Lockhart told FOX 5.
Lockhart says the drones he saw flying over his neighborhood in Cobb County on Friday didn’t look like any he’d seen before.
"What was really weird about them was that they were over 10- to 15-feet wide with flashing lights underneath them, different colors from green to red to blue. It almost looked like it was like a scanning light," he recalled.
U.S. national security officials say many of the reports have been cases of people misidentifying manned aircrafts, like airplanes and helicopters. But police in Boston arrested two men Saturday night for flying a drone near Logan International Airport.

THEN, the government will claim ownership and possession.
yep and the shooter will get J6’d
They are flying over dense population areas. Sort of gives credence to the theory they are looking for something.
They can’t tell the truth—not because of national security—but because lying is all .gov knows how to do.
People in Atlanta aren’t necessarily dimwits. The accent and voting habits just give off that impression.
LOL. Those who voted for Fani Willis might be an exception.
Now Myorkas says that people are seeing them and he is sending resources to combat them (using the government model of a) create the problem b) spend money to make it worse c) create a bureaucracy to advantage it. It is possible that the Feds are creating this so that they can authorize observations of the volk...
My daughter saw one in Plano,tx last night. Folks on n txt door said they show up about 9:30pm.
“”People in Atlanta aren’t necessarily dimwits. The accent and voting habits just give off that impression.””
The ex-husband in “Sweet Home Alabama” - “Just because I talk slow doesn’t mean I’m stupid.”

I thought the same thing. Are the drones following any particular interstate corridor, then switching to another? For instance, are they following I75 which travels from Florida to Michigan (through Atlanta)? I believe it connects to I80 somewhere in Ohio which goes through New Jersey.
I’m sure someone somewhere is pinpointing the sightings from state to state looking for a pattern or some type of commonality.
It's all about perspective.
“”so that they can authorize observations of the volk””
Starting out the morning needing an interpreter!
How did she describe it?
It’s an international franchise to lie.No one in the government can tell the truth. It undermines the brand.
I actually understood it, because it is how the so-called national security e,ite think.
So many people derive their views of the south from Hollywood and the media. When they think of Georgia, they think of the movie “Deliverance” and others of that type. So people think that just idiot uneducated violent rednecks live in the south.
Now Atlanta certainly deserves its reputation for violence. I refuse to travel to the city no matter what the enticement. But, it is not true that the state’s citizens are all idiots. Many may not have that “coveted” certificate hanging on their wall that the media thinks is so important, but that doesn’t mean they are stupid.
Radiation map realtime: http://gmcmap.com/index.asp Map is very, very slow loading.
I noticed the Atlanta area just before this article was posted.
There are radiation unexplained spikes happening.
Did anyone get any pics or vid...?
I hail from Jax which is way more Southern than Atlanta.
Get the what the what? If only the average person had access to a device that could be used to capture images or video. Alas…
