Wow pretty cool. You know, all these leftists who are bashing this guy, issuing him death threats, calling him racist, should take a look at the 2017 Portland train attack where the same thing happened.
Some nut got on a train in Portland and started threatening people. He threatened two girls, one black, one Muslim saying they should die, they should kill themselves, and two guys rather than subdue him, tried to rationalize with the nut. And the nut pulled out a knife and slashed both their throats and BOTH of them died.
You only get one chance for defense. Yes this guy Jordan Neely is dead, but he’s the only one who died not the innocent people he was threatening.
If someone is issuing threats, especially when you are trapped on a train, WHY should you take the gamble he won’t do anything? Screw that, you only get one chance. Being dead doesn’t grant a do-over

Actually...I just remembered something I’ve always been curious about: when one graduates from the Naval Academy does he/she get to choose the branch they join or are the assigned? Or are they allowed to choose a branch when they first enter?
